About
The Melismatics are Lehigh’s oldest co-ed A capella group. Since our founding in 2001, we have sung a wide variety of music, spanning across decades, and genres. All music is arranged and taught by group members as is the administration of the group. Throughout the year we perform at various events around campus in addition to our spring and fall concerts. We also perform biennially at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Additionally, we compete in the anual International Championship of Collegiate A Capella (ICCAs) on a yearly basis. We have placed in quarterfinals and received various awards, including most recently the "Best Vocal Percussion" award. To date, the Melismatics have released seven studio albums and singles, including our most recent album "Run Away with Me" in 2023.
